Join us for HBA's weekend overnight ride to Toledo, IA. The route is from West Willow Elementary School in Cedar Rapids to Toledo. The route is relatively flat and is approximately 51 miles.

The ride starts Saturday, June 10th, at 8:00 AM,  West Willow Elementary School (6225 1st Ave SW Cedar Rapids).  We will return to the school on Sunday. Overnight parking will be available at the school.

Helmets are required to be worn by all riders.

Registration is online and limited to 40 riders.

The fee for the ride is $40.

Accommodations

Overnight accommodations are available at the Super 8 Motel and Designer Inn & Suites, both in Toledo. Rooms have been blocked at the Super 8 Motel under Hawkeye Bike/Lynn Tiemann.  Each room has a microwave and mini-fridge. Free light breakfast from 6 - 9 AM. Phone: (641) 484-5888

Support

Sag service will be provided by HBA. Gear will be hauled to and from Toledo by HBA. One duffle bag and one bag chair per rider, please.

Rest stops along the way will provide drinks, fruit, snacks and there will be a lunch stop each day, provided by HBA.

Lunch on Saturday will be served at Big R's Bar and Grill in Elberon. Please bring cash to purchase the beverage of your choice.

The Saturday evening meal is on your own. There are several restaurants within easy walking distance from the motels.

Some of the towns along the route have convenience stores.
